My new St. Joe- Helle knife
« on: June 22, 2010, 11:26:00 PM »
Saturday at Comptons, Dave and Tracey handed me this incredible St. Joe Helle knife as a gift and it's amazing!!
They took the woods from my bows riser which is maple/spalted maple and used it for the handle. It turned out wonderfully.

This knife is very, very sharp, I SOOO cannot wait to use it!

Thanks guys, your the best!      :notworthy:

Looking good Arwin, I oogled over them all day Saturday. It was good to meet you also, wish we could have visited a little more.

Arwin, that is just a beautiful color match. Kind of reminds me of what Forrest Gump said about his girlfriend: "Me and Jenny goes together like peas and carrots"

Great looking setup. I've heard good things about the Helle Knives and they're not too expensive either. I may have to get one, nice to hear they hold an edge.

Thanks all!!! This is my first custom knife, pretty cool.

They are a sweet blade Mike thanks for the compliment!!!     Dave and Tracey started carrying them too and doing custom handles. I think it's a great way to compliment a bow for sure.

I bet my grandkids will be opening up a deer with this thing.   :campfire:
