I got an awesome donation coming for the kids program I do
« on: July 01, 2010, 10:53:00 AM »
Yesterday on another forum board I had a PM that said, Donating Bows.  I opened it up and to my surprize a guy is donating not 1 but 2 Fred Bear Kodiak recurves to me for working with kids.  He said his dad passed away and these were in the garage.  He says that he has no use for them, and does not want to see them go in the trash

Well today I got the pictures of these two bows that come with arrows.

I just have to cover 1/2 of the Fed Ex shipping, which I whole heartedly agreed to.

If any of you, know of anyone that would like to donate a stickbows, longbows or recurves to a great youth program please get in touch with me, as I can use all I can get. Even arrows it don't matter if they are wooden, aluminum or carbons. Arm guards, tabs or shooters gloves, releases, traditional t-shirts and or hats I can use what is available for teaching traditional archery in this program.

What a blessing this is.

Here is a picture from the first week of camp, where we had the 10 to 12 yr olds.

If you could get some wooden crutches and send them to me I could build some crutch bows for ya. Not the greatest #age but can work for kids and is fun. let me know if you need some help.

I have some old Indian Fiberglass longbows, around 30 - 35 lbs and dual shelfs.  They are in decent shape.  Leaving town tomorrow morn, but shoot me a pm if interested.  I will check on Monday when I return.
