Good luck with that.  Decent and old idea (bundle bow), but looked as if it was lacking a bit in performance...

hence survival bow ... not performance modern material bow . in a pince id use it with out hesitation.

Even though I would hate to use such equipment, it would be better than nothing. That said, I think a trap would be better.
