I`m not sure how close you are to Beavertown. But the Shade Mountian archery club is having a traditional shoot on Sept 10,11,12.Nice shoot to go to.It`s real close to beaversprings drags.Plus they have shoots every month.Alot of trad guys there.

theres a trad event in northern PA this month, go and you may find others there from your area. I'm in Bedford county, along with a friend we make and shoot bows. Not that good but its fun.

Did you try contacting the PA longbow Association (palongbow.com)? They could probably point you in the right direction. August 14 and 15 they're sponsoring a 3d shoot in New Oxford, close to you?

babs - I'm on the other side of State College from you (Howard). In addition to Denton Hill (ETAR) the PA Longbow Association will also be having a shoot in Gallitzin (your backyard) on August 7 & 8. Here's the link to the PA Longbow Association.

Shade Mountain is a really nice shoot too. I'm not sure if they have a web site.

Brad, I live in Huntingdon. We are having a 3D at Shenecoy next Sunday,July 18 from 8 till 2. I will be running the shoot, stop down and we can talk and shoot. There is a half dozen or so of us that travel to different shoots in the area during the summer. We would be glad to help you out and shoot with you.
