Some of the prettiest bows I've seen! I really dig a deep, dark reddish-brown color, so on my order (which I placed yesterday  :D   :D   :D   :D   :D   :D ) I went with either  Brazilian Rosewood or Cocobolo, at least for now...Brian is going to call me when he gets his new shipment of Brazilian Rosewood in and tell me what it looks like. The throat section of the riser will be one of those woods and the forward section will be Phenolic...Black glass on the limbs with antler bolts and tips  :D

Those are some sweet looking bows.I cant post pics,sorry.But I like my 60 inch Coco Bolo Diamondwood riser with black phenolic.Its got the 16 inch riser and makes a 60 inch bow.Its very very solid no doubt!I draw it 30 inches and it really does pull very smooth all the way and shoots sweetly.I am very happy with that aspect of the bow.Matched up with the longer limbs making it a 62 inch bow I am sure it would be very smooth shooting.It works very well at 60 inches though I assure you.Sixty two inches would be way smooth for you on the 16 inch riser.Dont rule out diamonwood with black glass limbs.That would be a very tough bow!Not as perty.But for utilitarian purposes it cant be beat and still looks nice.

I think the HH cheetah has the best looking limbs. I love the looks of Juniper.

64" is my favorite length and that's what I went with...18" riser with long limbs. If I went to Dymondwood, I would probably have the bow dipped in Predator camo...wouldn't match my pretty arrows very well, but it'd be a hunting machine

Great bow! Wenge is a neat wood you don't hear about as much as some of the others, but I love the colors and figuring.

Yaa the 64 incher should be a nock buster and super dead in the hand.I would imagine its gonna be as smooth a shooter as you could get.The 18 inch riser is gonna have alot of mass weight with any wood picked no doubt.These are some seriously robust risers.That phenolic one is bad to the bone Will

That phenolic riser is going to look a lot better when it is  finished !  Looks like it is waiting for the final finish sanding and spray.  NICE combo!

Will--Mr. Wickles Pickles I presume--you make the  BEST relish in the entire world--I don't like any relish except yours.  The pickles are excellent too, but I cannot ever get into them as both of my kids devour them as soon as I put a jar in the fridge

How does that phenolic shoot compared to the composite wood risers? Don't you have them set up identical? How is the physical weight?

I am not expecting much difference.  I'm told it is as solid if not moreso than all the other TT risers.  I am trying to get some weights of some of the other riser materials and will post when I get them.  My guess is the phenolic will be   almost the heaviest. I bet there is not a 2 oz. difference between the heavier exotics, dymondwood, and phenolic.

So the phenolic isn't that much heavier? This will be my first phenolic riser so this is uncharted waters for me. Brian told me that the phenolic felt really solid, I can't wait to give it a try.
