Osage. When it starts to turn gold it's a beautiful combo.

I have a longbow by Apex Predator that has Cedar lams and the riser is Osage and Zebra wood. Looks real nice!!!

I like the osage idea - love the stuff myself and it would look great with cedar.  But some don't care for the yellow look initially.

I had a cocobolo and juniper (which looks similar to cedar) that was really sharp.

Oh, and how many new bows are you getting this year Rafael?  :saywhat:   You've got it bad!  :p

Mike Treadway makes a cedar lam bow with a cocobolo riser - a really pretty bow to the eye.  My name's on the list to get one.

And to answer your question Joe, well i dont know my girlfriend is giving me aN EARLY Christmas gift, and i would like one more after that. I did a cedar with walnut.  I suspect aged osage would be more spectacular, but this was pretty nice.  I felt the walnut picked up the darker swirls in the cedar:

The cedar does make a lovely bow.
