Shipping Bow to Singepore.
« on: July 10, 2010, 11:24:00 AM »
I have a bit of an odd question, I had a party contact me on a  bow that I recently had posted, he is from Singapore, does anyone here know for sure if it is legal to ship archery equipment to Singapore and if it is legal for citizens of that country to own archery epuipment? Thanks. DK.

Yes & yes.
There are quite a few archery clubs in Singapore & shipping there should be no more complicated than shipping anywhere else. However, I do believe that the maximum length for a parcel is 62"

I've shipped several bows to Singapore. USPS just like anywhere else.

I visited Singapore in the 70's. What a neat place to fling some arrows. Don't worry about  chopper though, be concerned with the caning  :deadhorse:

I just shipped a bow to Switzerland via USPS priority/airmail. It was in a piece of 2" schedule 40 pipe 64.5" long and cost 43.00. Alot cheaper than I thought it would be.
