Bowfishing Personal Record
« on: July 10, 2010, 04:42:00 PM »
Hey all, thought I'd share that I went Bowfishing yesterday and shot my best Carp ever. It was a 30 inch 18 pound common. That's the biggest fish I've ever seen come out of our river. I snapped some pics and maybe I can get them up in the next couple days. That makes 13 fish I've shot so far this year...

Thanks!

To me, bowfishing is the funnest part of archery. It's better than targets, stumping, and even hunting IMO. This is my second year doing it...

Honestly, and don't think I'm being a jerk for saying this, but I'd rather not say which river. It's kind of a private spot and not many people are allowed over there because there's been issues with littering and trapping...

There is some mighty good bowfishing just north of you on Fontenelle lake in Wyoming. I've seen some near 40# carp come from there.
