Boardbow
« on: July 11, 2010, 11:26:00 AM »
First (adult) boardbow.  I posted one I made for my grandson a couple months ago.  It looks very similar.  Here are the specs.

66"ntn Red oak board 1x2x6'
Indian rosewood riser 1 1/2x 1 1/2x 12"
47# @ 28"

Followed advice found here on Tradgang.  Tried to make it sort of look like a HH design in the riser area. No surprises.  The bow shoots well.

Thanks for all the helpful pages!!!

Excellent!

Would like to see a side pic of it unstrung. Is it difficult to keep string follow at a minimum on oak board bows?
