Check out this site. It handles tree care supplies. They have a section called clearance rope that sells odd rope lenghts. It is the end of the role stuff. You can get a good price and this is top of the line rope.  www.Wesspur.com

REI has good quality climbing rope if you have a store near you.  Or you can order online from them as well.

Not a seat but the tree hopper climbing belt. It comes with a poly rope. poly is stiff and noisy when used as a safety belt.

Try a rope from and aborist climbing swupply calle Tennex. It is a hollow braid rope and very strong. They use it for makeing there own rope slings for rigging trees. I would say that the 1/2 size would work perfect for you.
