Question about Putting Skins on a Recurve...
« on: July 15, 2010, 09:23:00 PM »
Hey all,

I have a question about putting snake skins (or the fake ones) on a recurve.

What do you do when you get to the grip?  Do you put your skins down the entire length of the back of the limbs or do you leave a gap where you grip the bow?  I am thinking of getting some of the Limbstations from Onestringer and putting them on my 70 Bear Grizzly and seeing how it looks, but I don't know how far down to extend them.

How did you put skins on your 1 piece recurve?  Can anyone post pics of a one piece recurve that has skins on them so that I can see what it looks like?

Thanks

Nalajr
