Most of the stores in my area bale their cardboard. Wal-Mart, Kroger, Fred's. Those can be bought 25-40 bucks and will last forever if you have a way to handle them. about 400 lb..............James

Use a burlap feed bag and stuff it with cotton or rags, lightweight and stops target arrows great. When it becomes ragged just slide another bag over it............James

I like the burlap bag stuffed with plastic sheeting/bags, but also found that the burlap seemed to rot fairly quickly and dump plastic pieces all over my yard. I then found and tried the "U-Fill It" bag from 3rivers.

This is a heavy nylon weaved bag, and its been hanging in my back yard for 3 plus years now without any problems. It is good sized too, 32"X34", so it works well for "blind bale" shooting. The weave kind of just opens up around your arrows, then another shot next to that hole pushes it back shut, so you really aren't cutting any of weaves.

Cardboard box filled with old clothes works great and does not cost most people anything. Also arrow removal is easy as it can get.

I vote for the burlap bag and pallet wrap as that is what we use at our clubs field practice course and that gets a lot more use than you will give it.It takes a long time get shot out and its easy to slip another bag over it.

I think the burlap bag with plastic wrap is the easiest for me to try out.

Thanks everyone
