Itching
« on: May 12, 2007, 08:55:00 AM »
I found this site in February. I have been on other sites, but nothing like this one. I`m still rooting through the archives. Never a dull moment.

In the past, it has always been a recurve for me.
Curvy and stable. Longbows just seemed too long and gangly for my tastes. Never had an itching to own a longbow.

In the past, the thought of making a bow NEVER crossed my mind. How could I make my own bow?
I had heard of people doing it, but it just seemed too ridiculous. Never had an itching to even THINK of it.

In the past, when I saw a knife I liked, I bought
it. Simple, right? Here is the cash, here is the knife. Never itched to make a knife.

Now I`m itching all over. I hope I ain`t itching in places I can`t reach.

This site, and the people here give new meaning to the phrase, "If you have to ask you wouldn`t understand".

Thanks everyone.

Yes I too, Pre Tradgang, never even thought I could do it but I'm itching also to build my first recurve and a takedown long bow. Lots of awsome info on trad gang from folks who just love to share and see others succeed.JB
