DENTON HILL ,just got back
« on: July 24, 2010, 10:20:00 PM »
Just returned from spending the better part of the day a ETAR/Denton Hill. What a nice way to spend the day. Took my wife and just went to wander the venders and browse. Got to put some faces with some names Whip, Chad Holms, Mike Mitten, Barry Wensel and a few more. Talked to some bowyers looked at some bows. Picked up a wool pullover from the Asbell's and all in all had a great time. All so got a deal on a used Zipper that I think is gonna be a real nice bow. It was my first time down there and I most likely will go back!!   ron w      :goldtooth:

Browsing huh??? You Sir are no browser, you are a bow magnet or your money is magnetized to bow owners wallets.I myself got away without buying a bow so you cant make fun of me anymore, although I was smitten by a Hoots longbow that may someday grace my one of my racks.Sorry I missed ou there bud.Al and Ray and I gt there Thursday AM and left Friday afternoon.

Just got home tonight. Had a great time. Got caught on the mountain in that downpour and soaked to the skin.

Craig, Chad is a true gentleman. Sorry I missed you, next year we'll have to arrange a time and place to hook up and shoot the bull!!!

Missed ya Ron but will plan better for next year. Put in an order for a Leon Stewart 3 pc TD longbow. (I must be out of my mind.)

Met Whip, Vermonster13 and a couple of others. There was one on the list that sat with me for some time and I can't thank him enough for the company. Wish I was good with names. All in all, one of the best group of people I have ever met at an event. I can't wait to do this again next year.

Todd definitely married above himself!    :biglaugh:

Had a great time shooting with a bunch of different folks and it was good to meet so many TGers I hadn't before and to see the faces I did know.

Scott, Good to see you again and to meet Tom. See ya same time next year...

Spoke with Brian Wessel quite a bit and also met Dave "Dirtybird". Great time as usual..not quite as wet as last year but wet enough.

Dave you are 100% right! She is a great lady, I'm very lucky, I caught her sneaking out to practice a few times before work in the a.m., she said she didn't want to look stupid shooting, she has only been shooting a trad bow for about three weeks, very proud of her, and she came home with all of her arrows. Saw ALOT of lost arrows on the shelf in the lodge, I'd say she did pretty well. Todd
