Get a TD and that will solve the problem.

With a longbow you can take some pvc pipe and put some holes in it and zip tie it to your rear peg and your rear turn signal I do pretty much the same with fishing rods it aint the prettiest but it works and everyone thinks you have crazy exhaust pipes hahaa  :saywhat:  .

Ken -
Yours is not a new question for us Harley riders. Nearly 60 years ago this bowhunter not only had a problem of carrying his bow and arrows, but also his bear......

I, on the other hand, use a TD Hill in a 3" pvc and bungee it to the rear luggage rack of my Road King Classic. Before I got the TD Hill, I used a pvc and bungeed it to the right front highway peg on the engine guard and to tour pack at the back. I also use a 4" pvc to carry my arrows.

Also, since "The Enthusiast" is published by Harley Davidson, you will be getting your copy direct from The Motor Company. Welcome to the family.......

I just put my bow in a bowsock and bungee cord it along side the bike. I put my arrows in a small 2" plastic tube with removeable end caps. I have carried up to 3 bows at once like this on my Honda Goldwing and it works great.

I carried my bow across the seat but was too wide. I was thinking of the PVC tube but just bit the bullet for a TD. I know that I saw a LB case in the Lancaster Archery site that could be stapped to the bike. I also heard that they sell cases for ATVs that might work.

Use the search feature and check out Longbow on a motor cycle.  It even has some pics.

If your fatboy has hardbags with a guard rail I just double wrap mine in heavy bow socks and bungee it to the right side front bag rail then lay it across the left side passenger backrest and bungee the top end to the tour pack rack.  I add some additional padding to the bag rail and it never moves. A PVC arrangement for the arrows will strap on most anywhere. Mines based on a setup for an electraglide.
