Yes, the fox was taken in Northern Michigan near Charlevoix.

The Coyote was also taken in Michigan from a tree stand while I was deer hunting. I saw him hunting mice in a field and called him into bow range by sucking on the back of my hand. The initial shot was through his hind legs breaking one leg. After a long tracking job the next day I managed to put two more shots into him before he gave up the ghost.

WOW!!! Outstanding bud,, what a way to follow up,, I think most would have given up after the first shot but you pulled through to the end,,Winston Churchill said "Never,Never,Never give up.. Words to live by and your proof with that absoloutly beautiful yote Ron, Hope to see you at next seasons bunny hunt,,Jason B.

His exzact quote,,
"Never Give In"

"This is the lesson: never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy."

I was hunting near St Helen Michigan, Fred Bears old stomping grounds. Camping with a couple hunting buddys who returned with me the next morning to track the coyote.

Because of a couple inches of snow the tracking job was easy at first. We found where he had bedded the night before on the bank of a creek where he had an easy reach for water. From there he took us through the thickest shin tang he could find. At one point he crossed a frozen beaver pond. The ice was pretty thin and I had to crawl on my belly to cross with the ice creaking and cracking under me. My buddys weren't willing to risk it and made the long detour around.

At another point he crawled under a huge blowdown and I had to climb through the tangled maze to follow the tracks underneath. After awhile we realized we were pushing him and he was staying just ahead of us. This told me he was weak from loss of blood and it was just a matter of time.

After several hours of following him through the thickets my friends were ready to call it quits. One of them had went over his boots in a creek and his feet were getting numb and said he'd had it and that we'd never get the critter. I said as long as I can see a track I'm on him.

My buddys were almost out of ear shot when I caught up with my quarry. He had doubled back to the big blowdown and as I was crawling across the top I saw a ball of fur about 6 feet below me. An arrow through the neck and another in the chest and his misery was over.

He now looks down from his perch in the loft of my shop to remind me of the ordeal. The toughness of this wild dog gave me a respect for him that I won't soon forget.

Last years kitty, taken with a 63# selfbow.

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

First is a bobcat I got in 1987 with a bear recurve.

Second is a boa I caught by hand in Guatemala when I worked there in 1992.
"Then Peter said unto them. Repent all of you and be baptized in the Name of Jesus for remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:38

Sitting in the blind by a water hole during deer season and this came waddling up a cow trail. Went about 35 yards before piling up. Smelled it before I saw it!
