Bowfishing Stingrays w/out boat
« on: July 30, 2010, 02:30:00 PM »
One thing I have always wanted to try is bowfishing for stingrays. There is a good chance I will be on the Texas coast later this summer and I'm playing with the idea of trying to wade and bowfish for rays as I will probably not have access to a boat. Has anyone ever done this? Were you at all successful? Is it worth the time, or is it pretty much a waste of time?

Also, is it as dangerous as it seems it could be? Ha! I know it doesn't seem smart.

Thanks.
