Had a visit with Mr. Vic this evening
« on: May 12, 2007, 10:18:00 PM »
After turkey hunting, bowfishing and visiting with my oldest Son and Daughter-In-Law, Damon, The Wife and I went and visited with Vic. He looked might content setting on the back porch in his rocking chair looking out over the River. Vic set Damon up with a pole and some corn for bait, my Wife vegge'd out watching the River go by and Vic and I had a great visit. We talked about ole times, present, and upcoming events for Vic. He says it is so easy to just sit back and watch the River, Eagles and other Wildlife in there daily activities. Vic's hoping to start working again on his woodwork and leather work soon. I believe he has found hisself and is ready to move on again. While we visited we watched an Eagle come out of her nest tree and head up River in search of food. The Peacefulness of this place is awesome. Anyway just thought I would let everyone know that Vic is doing well and enjoying life again.

Glad to hear that our Brother is doing fine!!!!!

The Spirit Wind has told me that Vic may be making a hunting trip North,to the Adirondack Mountains this fall.....

If he does,I hope to get a chance to sit with him for a while, and maybe do some hunting   :campfire:

Thanks Court,

Happy to hear he is doing better and more at peace as Mickey said.

Thank you on behalf of us who share the same concern and feelings for him that can't be there. Comforting to know you stopped by to visit with him.
You and Vic are both wonderful.  :)

That is a porch I would have been honored to share! Good to have the mental images from that visit, though.
