I'm surprised by how many do not use a bow quiver!  I always use them.  For me...it is the ease of carrying arrows and not having to carry anything extra on my side or back.  To each his own I guess!

No quiver on any of my bows. Carry mine in the Rod Jenkins made back quiver.

Bow quiver only. Can't stand all that other junk flopping around to carry or tie to a tree.

I always have a quiver on.

I shoot on an indoor 300 league during the winter...I use a hip quiver to hold my five arrows, but have a bow mounted quiver as well.

I keep my GN quiver mounted on my take down 'curve all the time but seem to shoot my LB better without the quiver.

Interesting reading everyone's take on the subject. I do love the way a bow looks with a quiver full of turkey flethced arrows ready to go.

I have always used a bowquiver when hunting.I take it off sometimes in the off season for 3-D and shooting in the backyard.

some bows are quieter and more stable with a quiver.

I like the arrows right thier at arms length incase I need a second shot.

I like the bowquiver and bow as one unit.Allows me to have my stand on my back and fanny pack on my waste.I often dont have room for a back quiver or hipquiver with the gear I sometimes carry.A backquiver is just one more thing to carry around for me.A good bowquiver is quiet and convenient.

I think if I was stalking or still hunting and traveling light a backquiver would be nice though.

Bow quiver all the time here.  It's so easy to take an arrow out let it slide between my fingers and they slowly work it out and onto the arrow rest.  I can do that with almost no movement, other than my fingers.  Compare that to any other arrow carrying device and I think they all have way more movement.

The poll is slightly in favor of no quiver... 45% in favor and 55% against.

I noticed something interesting when looking through the pictures of 2006 through 2010 in the highlights forum the other day. In a majority of the "hero" pics, the guys had quivers on their bow.

Do you think you can get away with drawing on animals easier with a quiver hiding some of the motion?

I think it helps to hide behind a bit, and they are quiet compared to most other stuff.

I take my bow quiver off when in my stand.
