I did it almost 20 years ago with out any regrets.You'll enjoy archery much more,to switch back and forth isn't really productive.

Congrats! I sold my golden eagle 2yrs ago. I've never regretted it.

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow’s effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

Now wait a minute, there's no reason you couldn't have shot both.  I love shooting my Athens and my trad bows.  I kill with both and it's ok.

There is one thing for sure, there is no cure when you're  bitten by the archery bug!  Enjoy your new focus!

My old '97 model Matthews is still in the closet...haven't shot it in years but can't bring myself to part with it. Sort of a sentimental thing - we killed a lot of critters together.
