Help finding Dark Green Limbcovers
« on: August 03, 2010, 10:03:00 PM »
I bought some limbcovers several years ago and lost one out of the pair.  I can no longer find the dark green tamarak color.  Anyone know where I can find any?  I ordered new ones but the tamarak is grey and light brown combo.

This is the color I'm looking for.. Any Help????

You might try the Footed Shaft. I bought a set of dark gray ones a year or so ago from them.

Was just on 3rivers.com and they are in stock for both longbow and recurve.

Thanks, I'll try but the ones I have were on display in either 3rivers or KK, but when I opened the pack it was the grey.

Thanks for the responses!

You might check Alaska Bowhunting Supply - they used to carry them. I have a set of the green ones but won't part with them.

Good luck!

ABS changed the color so you will need to find somebody with very old stock.  Tamarak is one of the most popular so finding old stock will be tough.

I just checked inventory and the newest Tamarak is more brown than gray, but not really like the old green.

Hi Gregg,

I unearthed a pair recently that I only used for one season years ago.  They're the green ones for a longbow, and they're yours if you want them.  Just PM your mailing address to me and I'll get them in the mail to you.

Good for you, Paul! This is what I really like about this site.

They went in the mail today Gregg.  I'm glad they're going to be put to good use.

Take care,

I'm sorry for the bad news.
I bought some 3 years ago and aren't using them.
I was just going to send them to you but they are grey as well.

I didn't like them...seemed too light.

Looks like you need to find at LEAST 3 year old stock.

oops didn't read the whole thing before I opened my mouth..lol

Happy to hear things worked out!!
