Can anyone tell me who made the "Western Field" recurve?    Thanks, Rich

Not certain, but I think Bear made them for Sears.  Folks on the Collecting thread would know for sure.

Western Field was the "Sears" outdoor brand as Orion stated, and they were purchased from a number of manufacturers including Bear.  Sears used "Western Field" on a lot of their older outdoor products, I once had a .20 gauge shotgun that also wore the Western Field name.

I'm not positive but I think Western Field was Montgomery - Wards....could be mistaken!!!   :dunno:

I think ron is right on this one. I remember buying a new Ted Williams endorsed western field shot gun and am pretty sure it was at mongomery wards.

Yep, Western Field was M. Wards. Sears was JC Higgins.
