Several string makers post here. Go to the sponsor links and browse around. Also, do a search and you'll find several threads to read. I won't make a specific recommendation because I haven't needed a new string in quite awhile...but you can bet when I do, I'll get it from one of the makers I found here!

It'll be interesting to see who all gets a thumbs up from other posters.

Shoot, it's so easy you should try making them yourself. There's a ton of how to's on YouTube including some from a sponsor,3Rivers. 3Rivers will sell you some if you still want to buy them.

I've used Len Emmen for quite a few years now. He doesn't have a website, but advertises in the TBM classifieds. Fair prices, nice strings.

Oliverstacy, aka Josh Sowerby, has been making mine and I'm very satisfied.

SBD is my choice.  The testing that Pierre and JP have done is very impressive.  I personally have witnessed their work.

Boght a two S4 strings from George and Margaret at Tollgate Acrhery, a sponsor on Trad Gang.  Great strings!  If I ever wear one out, I will buy more from them!

What an evil thing to say! Making arrows is addicting enough. Now strings?! Oh, and did I mention I told my wife I wanted to make some bows?!? Where does it end...?  :D   I need a bigger shop.
