7th Age Bowhunting-Gone Elk'n schedule
« on: August 05, 2010, 07:44:00 AM »
Gang, Due to the unstability in our economic times I've taken a job guiding/wrangling for elk in northern Colorado this year. I'll depart for the cold counrty around August 20, 2010 and will return to the computer and telephone sometime around the end of November(Thanksgiving). I will be completely unavailable during this time. If we have unfinished business we'll need to get things wrapped up before the 20th of this month or it will need to wait till late November. I currently have dates available on the early January hunt(Dec 31-Jan 14) and I have no hunters booked yet for January 28-Feb 5, 2010. I am best reached via email- [email protected]

Please read this entire thread before you call with questions about the hunts.   Hunt details
Thank you and hope to see you soon! CK

Yea, SNOW!  :scared:    :scared:    :knothead:
10 days to leave. Anyone needing info while I am away can call my night number and speak with my wife. She will not book your hunt but she can answer questions on what is still available on dates. I will return for a 10 day rest sometime in the next couple of months. I will catch up on bookings for 2011 at that time. I'll return from the artic   :D   sometime around Thanksgiving and will get ready to hunt hogs/javelina then. I hope you guys all have a great hunting season!     CK

Will be great getting to ride the mountains with you this year.

Don’t worry if you get to shaking to bad we can always stop and build a fire.  We may be standing by a lot of fires.

Will see you in Colorado have a safe trip.

Snow!!! It snows in Crane, Tx.   I know, I was there and saw it.   By now Curtis should be looking forward to it.

Curtis,

Dustin Newer & I will plan to be there for Hunt #2 starting on 12/31 for 5 days, along with our McMorris family friends from last year!  Look forward to seeing you as always!

Tell the Horne's to be hand picking me some good elk haunts for the future!

Barry,

I have the perfect spot picked out for you but it is steep and deep.  Get ready to climb hand and foot.

Talk to you soon.

TGMM-Family of the Bow

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow’s effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs
