I started to reply to this thread, but figured a new post would be of better use for ghillie suits...

It should be a discussion, I am no expert, but have been using one for a while and consulted a very well respected sniper along with a couple more military and LEO snipers when deciding to make a ghillie....

It seems all those dangly threads would catch your bow strings, do you cut them short on your bow arm?

I put on a dark colored sock with the end cut out over my bow arm then my arm guard over it.

Good photos Mudd, but looks like you need to stay home a couple days and rehang the back door and maybe a coat of paint on the house.  :biglaugh:

My wife accepted the fact years ago that I am a "hunter gatherer" and not a "fixer upper" so leave me alone!...lol

BOFF, that picture give my wife the ides of taking my ghillie suit and hanging it in the only room we don't have a tree in and hanging ornaments on it...Dang Woman!  I'll need that suit until way after Christmas!!!

The only suggestion I have is to buy/cut her a new tree, or buy/make yourself another ghillie suit.
