Cari-bow Slynx longbow
« on: August 13, 2010, 04:06:00 PM »
I was purusing Abe's site and noticed an instock new style longbow, the Slynx.

Anyone have one, what can you tell me about it?

Thanks,

Danny

Is it slynx or lnynx? I shot a prototype at Compton's, of I thought Lynx. Very nice grip, 58or 60", D/R typical Cari-Bow quality. I am looking for another experience with it at KaZoo next year.

Mike,

On his site he lists it as Slynx. You are correct that instock bow is awesome looking.

It is a great bow !!!! i own the lynx. The picture you saw on his web site their is 2 bows. the first one is the slynx and the second is the lynx, I own that second one in the picture. the lynx has more of a recuve style riser, and the slynx is just the slimmed down version of the lynx "more the traditional look" Both are stupid fast and smooth. Abe can correct me if I'm wrong.

Dang! That is a good looking Bow. One of my Dream Bows is his "Silver fox" Those two on the in stock page would work just fine! But I'm with ..Lamey. Shallow pockets.

I shot the slynx at the ATBA jamboree a couple weeks ago. It is a good brother to the Peregrine and Wolverine. Very pleasant to shoot and super smooth to draw. Quick is a bit of an understatement.

Tell me more....... does the lynx have a smoother draw then the Peregrine and is it faster????? Is it suitable for a 29" draw?
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that string! [/i]
