I will be bowhunting in Segiun Tx. over thanksgiving this year. Is this still rut in that area? What phase? How much does the rifle hunting affect movement there? I've never hunted deer outside of the midwest. Any help appreciated.  :help:

I hunt a few miles northwest of there in Comfort,Tx.It's usually just starting to cool down a little in this part of the state and the rut should still be going strong. The bucks might not be running the does, but they'll be on the move and trailing 'em.
