Pile o' gear
« on: August 13, 2010, 11:36:00 PM »
Who else has checked their gear twice and has it laid out for opening day? I'm so excited to get in the woods I can't stand it. Brings me back to when I was 9 goin' squirrel hunting with my dad in Ohio.

All my camo is washed, my broadheads sharpened and my boots greased. Just give me the scent of aspen leaves on the ground and I'm there.

Good luck all of you! Especially all you flatlanders coming out here to Colorado. I sincerely hope you take home some of our elk meat.

I'm waiting for the shift in posts from the cabin fever, off-season variety to some fall hero pics.

KMogenson... please kill some mule deer in Utah with your Lost Creek!

I've been excitedly getting ready as well. I leave next week for northern California to hunt blacktail deer and black bear.

Can't even hunt squirrels here until October,  but headed to Maine in two weeks for bear  :bigsmyl:
