Well, 7 1/8" brace height, 9/16 nock high, three under with various AD shafts and fletching. Bow is very quiet, I installed the BowHush, and Bow Puppies before shooting. The grip is the MOST repeatable grip I have ever shot. My hand goes on the grip like slipping into a glove. The bow "nods" straight toward the target on release. Smooth load on the limbs, and I don't notice any handshock. As quick or quicker then my other bows at the same weight. This one is 50#@28" and I'm drawing to 29". My buddy has a chrono that we plan to play with soon just to compare our bows. I would like to get a digital bow scale just to keep better notes and comparison with. All in all, an A+. Looks cool, shoots great.

Pics are coming guys...so much to unpack after our week away. However, I opened the box, put her together and put some arrows down range. Holy cow it shoots good...more to come this evening!

Winterhawk, that is one of the best looking bows I ever seen hands down!!  South is a true Craftsman!

Real nice guys, those are some sweet wood choices too.

I'd love to do that Wayne.....both time and work have gotten away from me this year. In today's job market, I'm just glad that I have a job that pays the bills and leaves a "little bit" for the finer things in life.

Best of luck to you......bring an elk steak or two back to West Virginia. That's one thing that I haven't had the pleasure to enjoy.......yet.

Ok so I got this box that has been sitting in my office for a week in Illinois while I am in Alabama doing a triathlon and vacationing with the family. I raced home yesterday after my race to get to this box. It had been killing me!

When I opened the box I thought no way this is what I ordered. I actually thought South at Stalker has sent me someone else's bow. I asked for a no-frills grey actionwood bow. A no-nonsense hunter/beater than I can drag through the elk highlands and whitetails lowlands. Well, I got that (sort of). I kinda already knew because South had sent pics. However, the photo didn't do it justice:

I think this bow is about as pretty to look at as any I've seen. Coarse beauty is in the eye of the bow-holder. You know I did ask for was a plain-jane grey bow and that is darn purty to me!

Seriously what I got were some little extras that South found to match well. A little Bubinga in the fades and a little rosewood stripe in the riser. I couldn't have asked for more. It blends in well with the deer woods.

Okay having a little resize trouble so that is all I want to load to keep from shot-putting my laptop.

Here are the specs on my bow and a little review: It is the STEALTH model, 62 inch, Grey Actionwood, Bubinga fades, Rosewood stripe. It is 57 at 29 inches. I currently have the brace set at 7.5 inches, and nocked a little higher, at 3/4 in. I shoot 3 under and anchor low. All my bows are like that. I say all: I am down to 2 and after shooting this bow for a little bit I can't see a change in the near future.

I am shooting a 605 grain arrow: Trad Only 300 with a normal insert and a 250 grain head. Arrow is 30.5 inches. I tell ya what: I am not a speed guy. I don't care. I want an arrow to hit the heart/lungs, and I want results, not numbers. Having said that, this bow smokes that arrow!

I told myself I would not take this bow hunting in 2 weeks in WY because I would not have the time to shoot it and prepare. Scratch that! It fits my hand great, the grip is butter, the draw is smooth and when I get some hush-puppies from Terry, it will be quiet. It is going mulie hunting, and cow elk hunting, and whitetail hunting, and mouse/hamster/shrew hunting if the season is in  ;)  I LOVE THIS BOW!

You know the old saying... "beauty is in the eye of the BOWHOLDER"... or something like that! Those are really beautiful bows.

Mike(Wapiti) strike first for the Stalker Support Group! I agree, South adds what to him are probably subtle nuances that really seem to jump out and say WOW! Good look in Wyoming.
