A pleasant surprise.
« on: August 18, 2010, 09:14:00 PM »
I recently bought a 21’’ Hoyt Excel risers off the classifieds hear not because I needed it but because the price was good and if I didn’t like it I could sell it and get my money back. I have several sets of ILF limbs lying around so I started playing with different limbs. The limbs that shot the best was the Trad tech longbow limbs which make a 66’’ bow ,the only string that  I had lying around was a Angel Dyneema endless loop. I tell you for a bunch of spare parts thrown together I’ll be hard press to find one of my other bows that shoots any better......stabow

I have one of these risers set-up for fishing. I wouldn't hesitate to take it out after any other game either. Great riser for the price or twice the price.

I'll be all your other bows are shorter.  Longer bow, less string on the fingers at the moment of release, more accurate.
