Abowyer broadheads.....

Well, I just was wondering if anyone shoots the Abowyer heads....... the Javelina in particular? Thinking about checking them out this season and looking for some input!

I will be shooting the Brown Bear this year for all game and especially on our Moose trip to Alaska.  IMHO you can't find a better two blade for the money.

had the whitetails last season...buried one in a maple last year.....have touched them up so they still shave with a diamong stick then stroped on a belt.......

So I take it Croc Sticks will work on sharpening them as well?

I used the Antelope head last year with good results and will be using them again as well as the Brown Bear on my Elk and Mule Deer hunt in a couple of weeks. Good tough, heavy heads that fly great.

If you are using adapters, which do you like best?

Thinking about trying the single bevel for my son's lighter weight bow this year & love the way these heads look. Is the titanium worth the extra $$?

Easy to resharpen with a simple grobet.

Yep, they are bomb proof.....I like the Large BoneHead though best though.

Easy to sharpen.  The bevel is cut perfect on these unlike some single bevels on the market that you have to true first.

My KME knife sharpener touched them up in 30 seconds.

I shoot the boneheads and they are tough. I use my knife stone for these. The bevel is so precise
you don't need guides and such.They also hold an edge longer than some other heads I use.

I really like the Large Boneheads! Wish I'd never sold the ones I had just because they didn't work out of my old set-up.  Now I gotta get more!

I shot a very nice 10 pointer here in WI last January with a Wapiti with outstanding results.  Broadhead came thru unscathed even though it remained stuck in the ground (yes, a pass thru) until the snow melted in March.  Resharpened on a KME it is wicked sharp and is good to go for this season.  I picked up some one piece Brown Bears at Compton’s and will be putting those though the test this fall.  Outstanding BH's and excellent folks to work with as well.  Top quality all the way!

I shot 3 deer and a 204lb boar with the brown bear last year. blood trails from 12 to 30 yards. used a 47lb addiction recurve and axis 500 full length shafts. All passthroughs except the pig. The head stopped right before punching through the offside shield. used the same head for all four shots. I use kme knife rig till I got my wheels from ABS. 30 seconds to getter back to scary. Don

Tracy also uses the Brown Bears.She killed 3 deer with them last year form her 36#@26" recurve.2 of the 3 were pass throughs.
I use a KME to sharpen them, quick and easy.

I am shooting the Brown Bears, wow the new ones come sharp, must be getting Ron at KME to sharpen them as they have the same protective coating as some Grizzly's I had him sharpen a while back, great heads.
