looks like a great area to hunt elk to me

think this spot deserves some scouting this weekend.looks like it has it all.water, feed, bedding areas.the three required ingrediants for a viable elk hunt.

Can't be too secret if Google Earth lets you bring it up.  Must be somewhere in Oregon.  Have fun and let us all know how you do.  I have a nice blacktail buck I am tracking close to home and the coast range is showing elk on every visit.  Should be some fine hunting here shortly.

If you look real close you can see a giant bull just about dead center of the photo. See him?

this area is locked gate i believe, been there before a long long time ago.there was elk sign everywhere even back then.killed a big blacktail buck close to that lake.this was back before they ever really started logging it heavily.logging units are one of my favorite ways to hunt.spot and stalk is just to much fun.
