Howard Hill x Larry the Cable Guy
« on: August 19, 2010, 08:55:00 PM »
I came across this video and thought it was kind of funny.  I think this is what you get when you cross Howard Hill with Larry the Cable Guy.

That bow was odd.But a cool video.

I can't believe I watched the whole thing.  I think it's what you get when you're stupid and bored.

Of course, I don't know the guy (fortunately).

Heck he's shooting a Penobscott bow. Pretty cool!  I've always wanted to build one.

He builds all his own bows and arrows, including the penobscot bow in the video.  Don't let the persona fool you, he is a very talented and smart individual.

That boy ain't rite in the head!!!  :scared:

If that fella had been canoeing with Burt Reynolds, John Voight and Ned Beatty them hillbilly's would have let them alone!  "Lookie boy's it's one of us!"  :biglaugh:

All that being said, he must be pretty creative to make that bow and he certainly can shoot!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Funky.  Think those would be better if he tried less hard to be funny.  Cool bows though.

I enjoyed it a whole lot more, when i turned the sound off.
Target archery is seeing how far away you can get and still hit the bull's eye. Bowhunting is seeing how close you can get and never miss your mark.
