Hey Pac,  I'll come hunt with you,  would love to have the chance to bloody my Crow Creek Black Feather in Arkansas.

My mom's folks are from the Hot Springs area.  I remember driving there as a kid.

Any time Lamey.  That goes for everyone else too as long as you don't mind hunting public land. I'm retired and can pretty much go whenever.  Lots of time but little money hence public land for me.  That's fine with me though.  I've killed a limit on public land most years.

Elmer is a good friend of mine.  If you have not met him we can swing by and say hello.

Sounds good to me Pac, I sent you a PM.   Maybe we can swing by Elmers and pick up another bow, he always has something brewing.

So out of the 10 Arkies on here I have met and shot with 2 and have chatted with another 2.  Hopefully we can boost those numbers some day.

Sounds good.  I have never hunted the Quachita area, but I am willing to do so.  I really like the White River and Wattensaw areas.  Whenever ya'll decide to have a gathering, post it.  My time is limited, but I would really try to make a TG hunt.

I would be interested in a WMA campout and hunt late in the season, would love to meet all of you. Just let me know when and where. There is some good public hunting here in SW Arkansas as well.

Just wanted to reiterate what Dave Lay said above. All the things you guys are talking about TBA does. Great bunch of guys and gals!! We have 3 shoots a year and about the same number of hunts a year.

Yea I need to update the website but I am overloaded. I will try and get to it this week. If any of you are interested send me your email at [email protected] and I will send you a copy of the current newsletter that details the upcoming shoots and hunts. Below are the hunt dates and locations for this coming season.

Friday October 8, 2010 – Sunday October 10, 2010 Whiterock WMA.
Some will be camping at Byrd’s campground. See     http://www.byrdsadventurecenter.com     for more information. Some will be camping at Redding a couple of miles from Byrd’s. There are hot water showers and public rest rooms available at both campgrounds. Redding is tent camping and Byrd’s has tent and RV camping. We will most likely have a potluck Saturday night. We’ll do some Dutch oven cooking and share what is cooked.
Usually somebody comes a day or two early and stays a day or two longer so we will try and let you know who those folks are if you are interested in extending your visit.

November 28, 2010 – December 5, 2010 White River/Trusten Holder
We will camp at Merisach Lake campgrounds. Full hook ups are available. There are hot water showers and public rest rooms available.
Usually somebody comes a day or two early and stays a day or two longer so we will try and let you know who those folks are if you are interested in extending your visit.

We are considering a third option for January or February. If anyone has a suggestion please let Joe Clark know

Dave I have a 2 day BFL Bass tournament 2-3 Oct at Hamilton.  Anytime after that I am free until Nov.

In Nov I am suppose to have 2 TG brothers from NC coming here to hunt on public land & I also might have another TG brother coming from Alabama to do some hunting in Nov.  Mudd wants to come down and hunt a bit too but I don't know when he is coming.

Ouchita sounds fine to me for a get together.  I hunted there a few days last year and don't know the area very well but need to learn more about it.  saw lots of deer too.

Folks I started a thread about this on the AR page so we wouldn't have to keep hunting for it.

Come on and go with us Big Iron.  We can always sit around the fire and tell whoppers.
