Red Wing Hunters are truly some of the best of the classic bows out there!
My wife has two. One is 54", 45#@28" the other is 52", 38#@28". The 45# bow my Dad bought new in the Fall of 1968 for his son, born in the Spring of the year (me!). It's the first bow I ever hunted with. Shot my first deer with it. I out-grew the short draw length but there was no way I would ever get rid of it. I'm happy to pass it to her.
The other, 38#, is an early 60's model with the teeny-tiny limb tips.
She loves them! The smaller grips fit her hand perfect and she is a dandy shot with both of them.
This is the 23lbs gobbler she got this Spring with the 45# bow. It's nearer 40# with her 26" draw length. It had 5 beards!
