Popup Blinds and Traditional Bows

I'm thinking of buying one. What factors do I need to look for besides Dimensions (length, width, height) and Window placement? I am shooting a 62" Longbow and am 6'1" tall. I imagine that I would need to use some kind of stool. Can anyone make reccomendations to specific models that you have had luck using with trad bows? Also, If possible I'd like to keep it under $200. Thanks.

With a 62" longbow you may have clearance problems with most of the blinds. I got a Primos blind from Bass Pro shops last year that is at least 6" taller than Double Bull blinds. Check out their catalog.

The only popup I have that comfortably fits me and my bow (I am 6' 1" and shoot a 64" bow) is a Penthouse from Ameristep.
But I read recently on here about guys who dig a hole and put the smaller blinds over it. In NJ it is illegal to use a pit blind for deer and I am not sure if a two foot hole counts as a pit - but a few others have suggested raising the blind not lowering the floor. Basically put the blind on blocks at the supports. Then brush in.
I hunt mostly from the ground (although I am trying a Guido's Web this season) and I use mostly natural blinds, but I have popups and plan to use them as well. This raised roof idea sounds promising.
That said, do some searching. Everything I just mentioned is from other threads.

I have the vision from Ground Max, and I like it. It has lots of room!

I use the Ameristep Penthouse and Dominator. Both give plenty of room but the Dominator is a much better blind.

Here's what I believe to be the absolute best buy in a blind, the Yukon Tracks Enforcer Elite. My friend Chuck can stand up in this blind without hitting his head and is well over 6" tall. It's 80" tall in the center. Me and my bud can hunt side by side with stickbows out of it, sitting down. I don't think you're gonna find a blind that is gonna accomodate any stand-up-straight shooting, but this one will probably work for you if you're sitting on a stool, etc. This blind is great quality, relatively light, goes up and takes down FAST and has HUGE shooting windows. I had a regular Enforcer model, and sold it to get an Enforcer Elite which has even bigger windows and more features, like brush holders and camera ports.
When the new camo patterns came out they were over $250.00 at the cheapest place I could find, but now at Marine General they're a LOT more reasonable. I think I paid $189.99 for mine in the old camo style; now the Badlands camo is $189.99 at MG. There's also another new camo pattern called Adrenaline that you may be able to get from MG if you called and asked.

I'm a little bit shorter (by an inch) and had zero problems with my 60" Kanati this year in a Primos Ground Max blind. That said, it was just me in the blind; for when I was with someone else, I brought my 56" PSR along. I'd think that you could get a 62" bow working in there without a whole lot of difficulty.

That's all I hunt in---primos vision will work for any bow. Great blind great price. Look on line and you can find them for 129...there is also a bone collector version being made that I saw price at $129 that looks good too...I saw one a the local store and it is nice!

I've had good luck with my Double Bull Matrix with Turkeys, but not on deer yet.
