Walkstool?

I've seen that Mudd's been looking at the Huntmore chair... I've been considering that too. But, I'm also looking at the
Walkstool
"Comfort" models in either the 26" or 30" heights. They can be had for around $85 to $100 respectively. They're "tripod" style stools but the seat areas are large and they weigh less than 2 pounds.
Any of you use these? Any other pros or cons?

Gene, The walkstool is quite a bit cheaper in price and if that stool works for you then you should get one but I have a Huntmore 360 and yes it does weigh more but it swivels 360 and has a backrest...If you move and set up alot then maybe the Walkstool will be the chair for you...If you like to sit for say 4 hours in one sitting and have the option to swivel without noise then the Huntmore is another option...I have a foldout seat that I never use and a 3 legged Bullstool that swivels 360 but is very noisy and hurts the bottom after about 20 minutes sitting and very noisy setting up and packing away after a hunt...I spent about $200.00 on the other stools and buckets etc...With that price I could of bought the Huntmore but they weren't out yet... To answer your question "No" I never tried the Walkstool to compare it but after buying several others I prefer my Huntmore360 over the others I've wasted money on...It would be nice if every stool was set up somewhere for you to try out to see for yourself for several hours at a show but It really comes down to you and what you want...Your money and your bottom...

I have used a Walkstool for 3 years and would not be without it. I got the one that is 26 inches tall. These things are really tough. It only weighs 32 ounces and 4 of them are pictured holding up a VW Beetle car. If you are a mobile hunter, there is no better seat out there.
