Can anyone tell me what type of cable to get to watch my videos on my tv? Moultrie does not say, or provide one.

Just the garden variety video plug. Most TV's and VCR's...  ect, have  three connections on each end of the cable, one for video and two audio but for your Moultrie you only will use the one but if you have the three connection type plug just pick a color and use the same on each end. If you have a TV that is HD you may need an HDMI cable instead for the TV end of the connection.

every time I plug the cable into the camera it shuts off, and comes right back on when I pull it out.
