arrow set up help
« on: August 27, 2010, 04:21:00 PM »
I'm currently shooting Gt 55/75 cut 28.5".  Just changed my form a little and not that arrow is a touch short and the broadheads hit the riser.  What us another arrow that is a touch stiffer and I wont have to shoot a full length shaft?  Maybe the cx 150?, how bout a. 340? Are there any arrows in the. 370 range?  I need something a little stiffer so I can get another inch of shaft length.   I don't want to shoot a full length shaft or drop point weight so I can shoot the 55/75.  I need arrows anyway, so now's the time to make a change.

A .340 would be a big jump, the CE Heritage 250 is listed at .373 though.

that sounds like what i may need. gonna bare shaft again tomorrow to be sure.  hopefully i can get a touch stiffer arrow, add an inch or so of shaft length and it be perfect.  really wanting a camo shaft though, not too big on the woodgrains, but i cant find a chart anywhere for the spines of the cx arrows..all i can find is the chart of arrow per pound/draw for compounds.
