How to tune a traditional bow?
« on: May 16, 2007, 09:53:00 PM »
Yeah it seems like a simple answer, but for me I dont know where to start.  You add some weight here, do something else there, check your brace height.

Does anyone have a checklist of what you are supposed to do.  I have never been this picking.  I usually just lob the arrow at the target.  I want to do better than that.

Another question.........My draw length is 29" on a compound.  Is this not the same length I would shoot on a traditional???  I read on here some where that it is not.

Odds are you'll draw 1-2" shorter to start.

Here is a great tuning site.

Good luck.
