Heading to box y lodge on friday and was wondering if anybody on here has hunted teh Greys River area for Elk. If so has anyone done any scouting in the area and heard any bugling. Im not from the south so i wont be telling anyones secrets over there. Just trying to get fired up.

Have not hunted the Greys river area. But opposite side of the range on the Pindale side.
I was in the Ferris Mtns this weekend (central WY) no bugling there yet. I was expecting to hear some though. Should start any day. Of course the wind was blowing 30 mile an hour and was trying to take my tent away, so it was difficult to hear much. Saw a ton of antelope though and that was the purpose of this trip.
Good luck that's some beautiful country you are heading to.
