« on: August 31, 2010, 04:37:00 PM »
was at the bow shop today and stumbeled across a new in the box fuse infinity recurve nice wood and wooden limbs  50lbs. at 28 i draw right at 30 this could be my first recurve . $200

but before i go ahead with the purchace was wondering if these bows are a good starter quality and not just cheap ( hate to call it junk )
but surley someone out there has some experiance with them and if they are ok and what would the approx. draw weight be with me pulling another 2 or 3 inches . would it be to much for me to start with .

thanks for any advice ,
Scott

I also just seen one today at the local shop. It looked pretty nice for a 200$ bow. It had a decent lookin riser maybe a walnut with what looked like a maple lam running thru it, but I couldn't tell what the limbs where. I don't think you could go wrong with it for that price, I have seen worse for the same price or more. I did see where it was made in Italy if that matters. I say grab one up and check on that warranty to see how good it is.

I'll bet your weight would be @56-57# at your draw. Wasn't Fuse a take-off from Hoyt? PSE has some of their trad bows made in Italy also. They seem to be solid shooters.

It looked like a greattree or  samick if it the one I have seen.. light riser with a darker thin strip....  I can't see anything Italian at that price, but Koreans can mass produce with the best of them!!!
