Pat, in my eyes you will have a good hunt just by carrying your primitave set up through the woods. Just think, when you get a shot and send one of those beautiful arrows on its way it may have been well over 100 years since a cane shaft with stone head, turkey fletch, pitch and sinew flew through that NC air in that spot. Yes sir, you are living the history of earlier bowhunters who walked those woods before us pilgrims showed up. Thanks for posting the photos. I sure do respect you and the other TradGangers who can make and hunt with primitive bows and arrows.      :archer:

Kris, I'm sure we can work something out but first let me check to be sure I still have some.
Thanks again guys. I enjoy making um as much as I do shooting um.
JEJ. This will be my 4 season hunting with primitive arrows and hopefully I can prove the equipment to be effective. I haven't taken a deer with my primitive stuff yet. I'm pretty particular about having the right situation for a shot when using stone points..at least until I prove otherwise.  d;^)

From top to bottom what an adventure you're in for this season.  Good luck to you and looking forward to seeing some of those arrows red.

Up top for some more peeks.

Pat and myself will hopefully have some pics of some bloody stone heads this fall.

 I'm pumped about it already!

Excellant gear Pat, no offense to anyone else and their gear, but there is nothing like taking game with your own hand made stuff.
