Surewood Arrows
« on: September 04, 2010, 10:11:00 PM »
Just got my Surewood fir shafts for the 2010 deer season in this week and am working on them currantly. I'm in the mood to be psyched while I'm working on them, so Surewood users, lets see pics of your finished products for the 2010 fall season...

I don't have any pictures, but Snag has made some very nice arrows using Surewood Shafts.  Hopefully he will see this and post some pics.

I spliced two pieces from full length feathers and used a feather chopper to cut them to shape.

Looking great, guys. Just what I wanted to see. Keep 'em coming...

Rich, awesome arrows bro. That Silvertip sure likes 'em stiff, I just ordered the same spine for a 62# bow. Good luck to you, too. Hope Ohio is a blast.

Sorry, no pics, but I'm super happy with my first set of surewood shafts.  I'm very impressed with the quality and consistency.  They came very straight with minimal work needed.  I'd say they are the best shafts I've ever tried quality wise.

Well, It didn't work.  I tried that   stuff as it says in the help section and you can see the dashes that got substituted in the above post.  I wonder if I'll live long enough to figure out some of this stuff.   :knothead:    :banghead:

I'll quit now.  In the last post I tried to show what I typed per the instructions and only get the dash.  I guess the instructions aren't for old guys like me.      :banghead:    :banghead:    :banghead:    :banghead:

Those tamaracks on top look real nice with the splices, Snag. Was waiting for you and Ron to show your arrows....
