I have a couple of beautiful longbows and a couple of classics on order but I just realized I shoot a recurve WAY better. Crap...now what?

maybe its a grip thing. I've seen some very creative use of bondo on here before.

I had the same thing years ago.I just started shooting the longbows more and more and finally got use to them.It doesn't matter what I pick up now I feel comfortable with both.Within a few shots it all comes together.I'll bet at some time you had a hard time shooting recurves?Just keep at it ,It'll work. All the best.

Ya gotta love Felix!
I have found that different longbows have to be shot differently. It is a handle and balance thingie. It all comes together when I put them all down and pick one. The Centaurs are not like the Stewarts are not like the Morrisons are not like the Hills. And NONE of them are like a '65 K-Mag.
Put everything down and just go stumping with one little ol' longbow. You will get to know each other and your targets will improve.

I'm a recurve man. I bought one hybrid longbow with the usual longbow grip, not straight like a Hill, but not a recurve grip either. I could never put the first shot of the day where I was looking with the longbow like I can with my two recurves and after two years of trying many different ways to grip the longbow, I gave up and sold the longbow. Hope you have better luck with your longbows than I did.
