Charlie,

I have one that I had the brim trimed to 1 7/8th inches.
Pick a spot and concentrate!

Did anyone mention... Stormy Kromer!? Now there's a Northwoods hat for ya'!  :goldtooth:
Someday you and I will take the Great Hart by our own skill alone, and with an arrow. And then the Little Gods of the Woods will chuckle and rub their hands and say, "Look, Brothers. An Archer! The Old Times are not altogether gone!"

Try the "Radar" style caps.  They have a short brim and come in lots of materials for various weather.

George D Stout,

I want a book of your poetry. It would be a great injustice to the world if you don't have one published. The sentiment captured in your poetry is exactly what the traditional archery world needs to keep alive no matter what weapon we choose to use.It is that spirit that is the difference to me.

Ditto on the Noggintops address from Jack Shanks. I bought that exact hat from them. Well made and works well. Flints

How about a Trad Gang do rag.

A boonie hat is my favorite. They come in about every color, camoflauge, material, and just about any price you want if you look around a little. Plus it has a soft short bill that provides protection all the way around.

I just wear a welders cap.  It has a brim that is very flexible.  Welders wear them turned to one side or the other so that when they have to weld while underneath something it keeps sparks out of their ears. OUCH!!! TMG.
I love animals!  They're delicious!

Noggin Tops has a good selection.  I find that @2 1/2" brim is good for me.  Found a waxed cotton hat in the bargin bin at Gander Mountain for $9 that has been working great for the last couple years.

What does a telephone kiss and a straw hat have in common?
Neither is felt.
Is it too late to be what I could have been?
