New to me Big Jim
«

So, the Morrison Dakota I had turned into a 64" Big Jim Buffalo Bow 57@28. Awesome bow, but I wanted one a littler lighter.
HunterBob had that bow and we swapped Buffaloes. I've had it a while now, but am just now getting around to posting it. I really like it.
It's 64" and 52@28. Man I'm horrible at remembering, but I know it has juniper limbs, but I'm not sure if the riser is osage and juniper also. Whatever it is it's sharp just like the other Big Jim I had.

It does. I didn't manually stick those two arrows in the target.

Awesome, thanks, I was thinking coco, but wasn't for sure. The coco I have on another bow is a little darker.

Coco will look different if it comes from different countries. The mexican coco is usually much darker. It becomes more orange if you get it farther south.

That is a sweet bow I am glad you are happy with it.I knew you would be.I am very pleased with the Big Jim I got from you also.I am really liking the 57#.I would post pics of the longbow I got from varmint 101 but I am on dial up (old school) and it would take forever.I can tell you its a beauty just like all of Big Jim's longbows.it has bocote limbs with boo cores and the riser is bocote and ash with overlays on the front and back of the riser.and it also sports a beaver tail grip.It is 64" 57#@28" two piece also.

Oh ya! I forgot to say it's a 2 piece take down as well!
Ya Bob, that bow you got is a looker for sure! I just didn't want to pull over 60lbs anymore. I say the trade worked out well!! Now we need to go kill some deer with'm! Good luck this season Bob!
I ordered some GT trads from Big Jim this afternoon and some more feathers as well. Heck of a deal he has on carbon shafts!
