Skunk is a good cover scent…. I use a match stick. Dip it in the bottle then either stick it in a crevice in a tree bark where i am posted or put it in the bandana of my hat…

When I am done hunting I just toss it.

Got to remember to toss it b4 you go into you car or another place…

lol….lol….lol…

Not a fan.....  I like attempting to be scent free.  Just my preference.

I see skunk scent as a sign of danger so I never used it as a cover scent. I used to use fox pee and always had good results with that. Now I try to stay as scent free as possible.

Update. Just got off the phone w/Smokey McNicholas who is a new dealer here at TG (SmokeysDeerLure.com). Placed my order for skunk & coon scents. What a treat to speak with a knowledgeable trapper of some lengthy number of decades experience. *Claims "Moses" signed some of his original camel cover up scent. If you use this stuff; coverup, lure, mixed drinks, etc, talk to him first. He can splain it better than I ever could. We'll see soon enough. I'll let you know what I think about his product pdq. Thanks for the input everybody. b
