Snoopy Van Gogh's Big Adventure

Tom and I were out shooting bows in the yard this evening...around 7:00 p.m. right after Tom had shot our deer target a doe walked in about 40 yards from us. We had Snoopy my... daughters beagle that only has one ear staked up in front of the house. The deer came in...broad open day light and never saw us. We froze and the dog had some movement till he saw her. They had a stare down...he froze...she began to pretend to relax and eat...with the head bobbing trick. Gosh... it was 15 minutes of fun. We buy 50 pound bags of fruit flavored bird seed...and since the corn had not gone off yet she eventually headed to raid the bird feeders. Then came back to stare some more at Snoopy. She stood proud with her head raised high and made 4 or 5 prancing steps toward him...he had enough...never barked...took off at a full run and she did too.
I admit it...even though we don't hunt our urban deer...I did pick a spot... just for practice.

The date and time stamper on the Cuddy Back camera is wrong...may fix that tomorrow after our Tournament at Ft. Caroline Archery Club.

Here is a pic from about a month ago...I think she has birthed her baby/babies. The does will usually bring the fawns in...we never see any bucks. We think the live on the Guana Wildlife preserve and come courting...but we never see them. We have thousands of pics from this camera...but never and full grown bucks. If they have a fawn that grows to be a button buck...the others beat up on him...once he hits puberty. I hope this pic is smaller...I shrank it.
