getting hung up on your clothes when you shoot?
I just don't shoot well when canting the bow, and so hold the bow vertically. All summer long I shoot pretty well, and consistently. Then, when I put on my cooler-weather clothes, my accuracy goes all to pieces, and its the string catching the shirt/jacket or vest. I don't wear heavy stuff, but my draw is very full (i.e., my drawing elbow is way out behind me, as I have worked to draw with my back), which puts my bowstring closer to my chest. Just wearing a flannel-lined chamois shirt really messed up my shooting tonight.
I've rigged up a camo shooting vest that I often wear over my clothes, but I wonder if anyone else has any other ideas?
Or maybe I'm just too far north???
